Collaboration Fuels Community Renewable Energy
We think of every solar power project as a partnership. Through close collaboration with your organization, we make sure you get the technology and financing that’s right for you.
Teamwork has always been vital to Community Renewable Energy. In 2009, our team won the highly competitive Solar America Showcase Award, which recognizes and nurtures technological ingenuity, and the US Department of Energy singled us out for our community-ownership structure.
We soon began work with an interdisciplinary team of experts, including researchers and engineers at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado and Lake Erie Electric in Cleveland, Ohio.
This extraordinary collaboration created modular, scalable solar power systems ranging from small installations (2-3 kilowatt) to utility-grade, grid-connected systems (2 megawatt).
Our design team includes experts from:
- SatCon: solar power inverter development
- Renewable Energy Corporation: module development
- AP Alternatives: racking system development
